Sudden Interest in Minotaur Horns - Guild Wars Forums

Hi,

Couldn't see this anywhere, but was just wondering why the sudden interest in Minotaur horns? Rarely, I'll see someone buying some in Augury etc. But this morning, in Elona, I've seen people spamming about buying "all your Mino horns, 60g".

Is there something other than the collector up here?

do they give u tanned hide squares if u salvage them? if so then that is why

i know there is a collector in the desert that gives 20 20 bone staff for death magic. Pretty much same as a bortak staff.

Its because if you are a mesmer. there is a collector right outside augury rock which for 5 mino horns gives u mesmer gloves. if u slav those gloves = like 50 cloth.

I really think is cuz of the hide square. but hey ill be selling it tomorrow i have sillions of those lol

Can't salvage any horn into anything else but bones.

Actually these gloves you can salvage, and this trick has been going on for quite a while now.

The collector outside Augury gives monks armor as well which often salavages into parchement.
